  12. The TAdrockFormPosition Control allows you to save the size and position of a
  13. form. No coding required, just set two properties and you are done.
  14.  
  15. ╖    Installation
  16.     ========
  17.        Getting Started 
  18.         ╖       UNZIP the archive (eg: ADSAVFRM.ZIP) to a directory temporarily.
  19.         ╖       Create a directory to hold this component and any others that
  20.                 you will install in the future. (eg: C:\DELPHI\COMPONEN) It is
  21.                 easier to put new components in a separate directory since you 
  22.                 can update them easily and if there is a new release of DELPHI
  23.                 it will not effect your add-on component directory.
  24.  
  25. ╖       Installation of the HLP and KWF files.  
  26.         ╖       Exit DELPHI is you are running it, as you can not install the
  27.                 KWF file while delphi is running.
  28.         ╖       Move or copy help file (e.g.: ADSAVEFRM.HLP) to your Delphi Bin
  29.                 directory (suggest C:\DELPHI\BIN); it only really needs to be
  30.                 somewhere on the path, but the Delphi Bin directory is a good
  31.                 place. Delphi has a program to add our help index to Delphi's
  32.                 help index. What this does is allow you to search for both 
  33.                 delphi commands and the commands and properties of the 
  34.                 component you want to install. 
  35.         ╖       This program is called HELPINST and is found in the DELPHI\HELP
  36.                 sub-directory. Copy the keyword file (ADSAVEFRM.KWF) to the 
  37.                 delphi help directory.   
  38.         ╖       Run Delphi's HELPINST program and load the DELPHI.HDX file
  39.         from the DELPHI\BIN Directory.
  40.         ╖       Add the .KWF file (e.g.: ADSAVEFRM.KWF) to the list of indexes.
  41.         ╖       Save the new index file and then exit the HelpInst program.
  42.  
  43. ╖       Installation of the DCU, DCR, HIS ,TXT and any RES files.   
  44.         ╖       We next must add the component to the Delphi VCL Library.
  45.         ╖       Copy all the DCU, DCR, HIS, TXT and any RES files to the
  46.                 directory that you made for the components. 
  47.                 (e.g.:  C:\DELPHI\COMPONEN)
  48.         ╖       Load Delphi and select the menu item; Options, Install 
  49.         Components.
  50.         ╖       Add the directory where you have installed the components to
  51.                 the search path directory. All components that get installed
  52.                 must be in this search path. 
  53.         ╖       Click the add button and then the browse button to navigate to
  54.                 the directory where you copied the .DCU file 
  55.                 (e.g.: C:\DELPHI\COMPONEN) 
  56.         ╖       Select the List Files Of Type and select Unit File (*.DCU), 
  57.         you should then see the DCU file (ADSAVEFRM.DCU) that you copied
  58.         to the directory. Select the file and you will be returned to the
  59.                 Install Components dialog box.
  60.         ╖       Click on the OK button and the VCL library will be re-built. 
  61.         ╖       You will notice on your VCL Palette bar in DELPHI that there
  62.                 is now a new tab called ADROCK, in side here will be an icon
  63.         to represent the component you just installed.  NB: this won't
  64.         happen if you've installed a Property Editor or Expert type of
  65.         control - these controls are apparent by either the function they 
  66.         perform (Property Editor), or by their appearence on say as a
  67.         menu option (Expert).

  73. forum $10.00 US. (Go SWREG #7689).  Help file included.

  136. Adrock Software's parent company, BYTE Computer & Software Ltd, restricts us
  137. from distribution of much of our source code - including most Delphi shareware
  138. controls.

  140. Source code will be available for some VCL-Components, Property-Editors, and
  141. Experts in the near future.

  143. However, if you have any technical questions, I am at liberty to distribute code
  144. snippets to help us mutually solve any problems.
